Community and Content Lead

About the role

As Community and Content Lead, you are one of the institute’s public faces for students, families and the education ecosystem. Reporting to General Management, you design, film and present the content that tells AIM’s story, bring campus life to life and represent the school at events. You also leverage your personal brand to build lasting trust with students and their families.

Key responsibilities

Community management — 40 %

  • Manage @AIMalgeria daily across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and other relevant channels, including posts, stories and comment replies.
  • Manage direct messages and WhatsApp, respond within 24 hours and route qualified enquiries to admissions on the same day.
  • Establish recurring community formats such as weekly Q&A sessions, campus behind-the-scenes content and future-student profiles.
  • Monitor competitors and education-content trends and provide a weekly briefing to the CMO and/or General Management.
  • Produce regular reporting on content performance, engagement, enquiries and admissions handoffs.

Content creation — 30 %

  • Produce approximately 3 to 4 videos per week and daily stories during campaigns, following the brand’s visual system and message hierarchy.
  • Manage and update website content.
  • Lead the ‘What’s your AIM?’ series through vox pops and testimonials from students, professors and entrepreneurs.
  • Create high-value guidance content on academic pathways, degree choices and study methods.
  • Film content and coordinate post-production with the video editor.
  • Expand formats to professor interviews, entrepreneur and guest-speaker content, and student-life storytelling across varied formats.
  • Support the podcast through preparation, recording and guest coordination, including professors, entrepreneurs and students.

Events — 15 %

  • Co-organize and host open days, information sessions and campus speaking clubs.
  • Support conferences and workshops, welcome new students and coordinate media coverage for events.
  • Represent AIM at relevant events in coordination with the CMO and/or General Management.

Ambassador programme — 5 %

  • From the start of the academic year, recruit and manage a group of 5 to 10 student ambassadors from the first cohort.
  • Build partnerships with content creators and student associations.

Public face of the brand

  • Act as one of AIM’s public faces to build and maintain trust with students and families.
  • During the collaboration with AIM, do not represent, promote or create content for another university or education institution.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s-level education (Bac+3/Bac+4 or equivalent) in a relevant field.
  • Experience in communications is preferred.
  • Knowledge of vocational training or higher education is an asset.

Languages

  • French: excellent spoken and written proficiency — mandatory.
  • English: excellent spoken and written proficiency — mandatory.
  • Arabic: working knowledge is considered an asset.
